Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

1. Take photos of your items – Be sure to include the front and back if you’re selling coins or both sides of the gun if you’re selling a firearm.  If your items come with any packaging or accessories, be sure to include those as well.  Highlight any imperfections or blemishes.  The more accurate the photos, the more accurate the quote will be.

2. Fill out the form – If you’re selling coins, you can find the form HERE.  If you’re selling firearms, you can find the form HERE.

3. Review our offer – You will receive a quote via email within 24 hours of submission.  Offers are based on the images and description you provide, current market desirability and conditions, and compared to recently sold comparisons.  You have 7 days to accept or decline our offer.

4. Ship your items – Once you accept our offer, we provide two options for shipping your items.  The first option is for us to send you a free label and you package the items in your own box.  The second option is we will ship you a free box and return label.  This takes longer, but saves you the trouble of finding a suitable box for your items.  The third option is for you to meet us locally if you’re in the Dayton, Ohio area.  In most cases, we will have you meet at our office in Vandalia, OH.  Please note that you must include a copy of a valid government ID (Drivers license, state ID, passport, etc.) in your package with your firearm.

5. Get paid – Once the transaction is complete, we will mail you a check or make payment to your choice of app (PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc.).  If you complete your deal locally, you will be paid before you leave.  Please note that we do not pay out firearm sales though any apps – only checks or cash (if local).

How long before I get paid?

We offer multiple ways for you to get paid, it’s your choice!  This is chosen when filling out the form.  If you choose a mailed check it usually takes 3-10 business days for the U.S. Mail to deliver it to you. With digital payment forms, you will receive your payment once we have inspected your items.  Cash options are available for Dayton, Ohio transactions within our office only.

How do I know you are properly licensed to deal in Firearms?

We encourage all our perspective customers to research us before they use us! You can never be too safe when selling a firearm. Here are some places you can refer to if you want to research us further.

We maintain an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). You can verify our FFL license number with the United States Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms (ATF) using their FFL EZ Check System.

How do I package and ship my item(s)?

If you choose to sell your item(s) to us, we provide detailed instructions on how to properly ship your guns. Using padded materials to safely and securely pad and protect your item(s) ensures they will arrive safely and without harm to our facility.  Tape is cheap and we recommend using as much tape as possible to cover the box or padded envelope.  Please note that you must include a copy of a valid government ID (Drivers license, state ID, passport, etc.) in your package with your firearm.

Can I get my firearm or coins back after shipping it to you?

By shipping us your firearm, you are agreeing to sell it to us at the price we’ve offered. We do our best to be accommodating if things change, and you decide to cancel the process. In which case, we can ship your gun back to you; however, by law, we have to ship the gun to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder of your choice, who will then legally transfer the gun back to you. We’ll pay for the return shipping, but any transfer fees associated with your State’s laws and/or FFL are the customer’s responsibility. This is Federal law in accordance with gun transfers in the United States.

Coins will simply be shipped back to the original address provided.
